Membership Terms and Conditions.
By completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms & conditions and cancellation policies outlined below.
Between:
You (The Member) and Fit Body in 6 Ltd, trading as The Club (The Gym).
1.0 GENERAL
1.1 All memberships must be paid for in advance. Memberships will not be confirmed until payment has been received.
1.2 I understand that there are inherent risks in participating in a program of strenuous exercise. If I sustain or claim to sustain any injury while participating in the program, I acknowledge that The Gym and the coaching team are not responsible—except where the injury was caused by gross negligence or by an intentional act of the coach.
1.3 I will adhere to all instructions provided by The Gym staff and understand that failing to do so may increase my risk of injury.
1.4 I understand my progress is dependent upon my effort, cooperation, consistency, and adherence to the program both inside and outside of the training sessions themselves.
1.5 I understand that opening times are subject to change and may vary during holidays and Bank Holidays.
2.0 CONTRACT DURATION & RENEWAL
2.1 By completing payment and agreeing to this contract, I commit myself to a minimum contracted term of 3 months.
2.2 This contract is valid for a rolling calendar month or 3 months (as appropriate) from the contract start date—commencing when payment is successfully processed.
2.3 After the minimum term has passed, I will automatically enter a rolling monthly contract, requiring a 30-day notice period for cancellation.
3.0 PAYMENTS
3.1 The Member agrees to pay monthly recurring fees for membership via recurring card payment through GoCardless or Stripe.
Membership Usage:
Club membership is limited to 12 sessions per membership month. Unused sessions do not carry over to the next month. Members must book their sessions in advance.
3.2 I agree to purchase a recurring membership at The Gym as an automatic charge to my credit/debit card every month for a minimum of 3 months (as applicable), which will automatically transition to a rolling monthly contract unless cancelled with 30 days' notice prior to the next payment.
3.3 I certify that I am the holder of the credit/debit card used to sign up for this contract.
3.4 I understand that my account will be deactivated if my payments are more than 30 days overdue.
4.0 MEMBERSHIP PAUSES
4.1 Membership pauses are not permitted during the initial 3-month contracted period.
4.2 After the initial period, membership pauses are limited to 60 days per calendar year (in 30-60 day increments). Requests must be submitted with 30 days' notice.
4.3 Pause requests for medical reasons (injury, illness, pregnancy) will require a GP letter.
5.0 CANCELLATIONS
5.1 After the initial contracted term, membership cancellations require 30 days' notice. Any payments within this period are non-refundable, but members may continue using The Club until the end of the period.
5.2 Early contract termination incurs a fee of 50% of the remaining contract value.
5.3 Paid-in-full memberships are non-refundable.
5.4 These terms are fixed; do not sign up if you cannot adhere to them.
5.5 Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to admin@theclub4me.co.uk.
6.0 AGREEMENT
By completing payment and taking up membership at The Club, I agree to these terms and conditions.
7.0 INTRODUCTORY OFFERS
By signing up, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
7.1 Individuals cannot use an introductory offer if they have purchased another within the last 6 months.
7.2 Introductory offers are limited to a maximum of 3 sessions per week.
7.3 Refunds Before Welcome Session:
If you have not attended the Welcome Session or participated in any training sessions, you are eligible for a refund, minus a £25 administration fee. Refund requests must be submitted in writing prior to attending any sessions.
7.4 No Refunds After Participation Begins:
Once you have attended the Welcome Session and begun participating in sessions, no refunds will be issued, except in cases of injury, illness, or pregnancy (see Section 7.6).
7.5 Refunds Based on Results and Engagement:
We are committed to helping you achieve results, but refunds will only be considered under the following strict conditions:
If these conditions are met, and you can demonstrate that you followed the programme diligently but still did not achieve the expected results, a refund may be considered at the discretion of management. All refund requests must be submitted with supporting evidence of compliance, including MyFitnessPal logs and session attendance.
7.6 Medical Cancellations:
If you are unable to participate due to medical reasons (injury, illness, or pregnancy), a doctor's note is required to confirm your inability to continue. In such cases, you are eligible to pause your challenge until you are able to resume, but no refund will be issued once participation has started.
7.7 Non-Medical Pause Requests:
Extensions or pauses for non-medical reasons will not be permitted. Only those with a verified medical condition (as outlined in Section 1.4) may pause the programme.
7.8 Extension or Pause Requests:
Extensions or pauses to the 6 Week Challenge will only be granted for injury, illness, or pregnancy. You must provide a doctor's note confirming your condition and inability to participate for the duration of the challenge. Extensions will be granted based on the severity of the medical condition and the timeframe of recovery.
7.9 Non-Medical Extension Requests:
Extensions or pauses for non-medical reasons (holidays, personal commitments, etc.) will not be permitted under any circumstances.
8.1 The 6 Week Challenge is a fixed-duration programme, and unused sessions do not roll over to future challenges or membership months.
8.2 Participants are expected to follow all guidelines, instructions, and advice provided by the coaches to maximise their results and minimise the risk of injury. Failure to do so may result in removal from the challenge without a refund.
9.0 FRIENDS AND FAMILY REFERRAL SCHEME
Our Friends and Family Referral Scheme is exclusively available to full-time members and is tied to our 6-Week Challenge. Participation in this program is subject to the following terms and conditions:
By participating in the Friends and Family Referral Scheme, members agree to these terms and conditions and acknowledge that all decisions made by the gym regarding the scheme are final.
